In line with our data protection commitments, you can request the deletion of your Masroufy account and all associated data at any time.
This is a translation. The French version is the authoritative text.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself from within the app, with no assistance needed:
- Open the Masroufy app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Security & sign-in.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog. Your account and personal data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Can't access the app?
If you cannot sign in, write to us at gaouetayoub1@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, stating your username. Your request will be handled within 30 days.
Data that is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile details (username, email address, password)
- Your financial transactions
- Your custom categories
- Your budget goals
- Your conversations with Masroufy AI
- Every attachment and image you uploaded
Expenses you shared in a group stay visible to the other members under an anonymous label, so their balances remain correct.
Data that is kept
No personal data is kept after deletion. Anonymized technical logs may be retained for up to 30 days for security and fraud prevention, as required by law.
Partial deletion
If you only want to delete some of your data (your transactions, for example) without deleting your account, you can do so directly in the Masroufy app.
